Bold yet velvety, it exudes iconic Napa character. 

This wine is light and crisp, with lively acidity and mouth-watering minerality. Notes of zesty lemon-lime citrus, granny smith apple, and papaya, with very subtle hints of brown sugar and clover honey that round out the fruit.

Strikingly complex, dense and aromatic, with a rich core of vivid, graphite-laced dark berry, loamy earth, underbrush and melted chocolate flavors. Gains depth and nuance on the finish."

Skyhook is the manifestation of a love for Rhone varietals and they ability to meld into fascinating blends.  For our 2017 Red Wine, Syrah - with its savory, dark fruit character and soft tannin, is intertwined with Grenache’s broad, resonant fruit and warm spice.  

92 W.E.- Medium-bodied, loads of Blackberry & Blueberry, yet not overly fruity because of the floral/spicy/earthy flavors going on. Velvety-laced tannins make the wine stand tall from start to finish. Really lovely…full-flavored yet with graceful restraint.

We grow our Chardonnay in the coolest and southernmost part of the Estate, the vines range from 25-45 years old and benefit from the various marine soils, gently sloped terrain, and cooler temperature conditions that make the Carneros region ideal for growing Chardonnay. They produce aromatic wines with complex fruit characteristics with unique spice and floral notes.
