2022 Red Thread Howell Mountain Red Blend Napa Valley

32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 58% Zinfandel, 10% Petite Sirah.  Deeply perfumed aromas of blackberry compote, cedar, dried herbs and tobacco. The palate is full-bodied with fine tannins and balanced acidity, giving notes of mocha, graphite and blackcurrants. Very well constructed, with complexity and ageability. Drinkable now, but best from 2028.
